Zein grew up between Washington, D.C. and Amman, Jordan. While she had a penchant for learning to play instruments, the form of music making that truly stuck was singing. At a very early age, her father introduced her to the wonders of The Beatles, Queen, and Pink Floyd (which became her preferred lullaby band of choice, oddly enough). Always immersed in lyrics and melody, Zein began writing songs at home and participating in every school performance opportunity she could. Zein trained at the Levine School of Music in Washington, D.C., and continued pursuing her love of vocal performance at Brown University. She has performed at the Washington National Cathedral, The Kennedy Center, and The White House, as well as for Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan. Having been described as a Colbie Callait-meets-Adele hybrid, Zein now lives in Los Angeles, CA, working as a pop singer-songwriter.
