Violinist with more than 20 years of playing the instrument. I can perform a variety of acts, but what I love the most is to romantic or jazzy musics, timeless acoustic covers, or improvise until your ears melt.
I am classically trained, love bluesy riffs, gypsy music, and can play along a variety of music, from the magical cuban rythms of Buena Vista social Club to deep transing chords of Pink Floyd.
Aurelien played for my wedding ceremony at Sanctuary Gardens in West Kelowna. I don’t even have words for how incredible he was. Our guests could not stop talking about him all night! It was magical, really. He was so easy to work with, too - I had a couple requests - he played Bruno Mars’ “Marry You” during our recessional!! - and he just knocked it out of the park. I am so grateful to Aurelien for making my wedding the best day ever. We didn’t really know what we were getting in to - we’d never heard of him OR GigSalad, so we didn’t really know how it would turn out, but my wedding wouldn’t have been the same without him and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to play for us. What a guy. Thanks, Aurelien!! You are so talented. I hope we can find a time for you to play for us again!!!!

Aurelien was quite amazing! He came into my party, set up quickly and entertained guests for an hour. He was super impressive with his skill and was very friendly and professional! I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a violinist.
Aurelien was really easy to work with and very professional. He played beautiful music for our guests and of course, a really excellent wedding march!

After learning classical music at the Conservatory of Fribourg, Switzerland, I stepped away from the musical world for a decade of mountain lifestyle and school. I picked up the violin again in 2012 after a sports injury, which gave me the time and motivation to renew my relationship with the instrument. A couple years passed and I acquired an electric violin. I became obsessed with performing and jamming along any rock songs, from Pink Floyd to Iron Maiden and Metallica, while also playing along Billy Joel, Bob Dylan, and other friends. In 2016/2017, Folk music pushed me to play multiple shows and do some recordings with James D Bryan, open up for Shred Kelly in a full Grotto venue, close up at Skookum Festival after Florence & the Machine, as well as harmonize over Kendall Kinnear & the Wind Almost Wild.
