The ancient art of Chinese Parasol Foot Juggling performed by a 1950s American film character! Also presenting ambient and walk-around of parasols, spinning blankets, a coat rack, and a variety of other objects to manipulate with hands and feet.

5:15 minute fast-paced and colorful act involving the manipulation of umbrellas, blankets, and a coatrack with the feet, set to music. The character is a middle-aged proprietor of an umbrella shop--wearing either a bright red suit or a 1960s green cocktail dress a la Lawrence Welk Show.
A variety of other ambient and walk around characters also available: "Washed-up Liz", "Auntie Mame", and "Circus Grande Dame" can mingle and perform manipulation with the umbrellas or carpets.
Adult and Risqué characterization also available upon request, as is development and custom sets and costuming.
A lifelong performer and entertainer, Wondercabinet started as a musician, but discovered performance art and circus in the late 1980s. First performing as an aerialist, she switched to tightwire and performed in the U.S. with her one-woman show, "Winnie's Wondercabinet", until traveling to China to train in foot juggling twice: First with the Hebei Acrobatic Troupe in Shijiazhuang and next with the Fujian Acrobatic Troupe in Fuzhou.
Performing as an antipodist (foot juggler), Wondercabinet was based in Istanbul, Turkey where she ran an art center and performed foot juggling at Supperclub Istanbul, 360, Joke Circus, Krystallpalast Variété, Xleb i Sir humanitarian circus and numerous parties and embassies around Europe and the Middle East.
Currently based on the East Coast of the U.S. and in Sweden, she runs a network for experimental circus and incorporates he circus skills into performance art contexts in addition to performing traditional circus skills.
Parasols cannot be performed outside, but coat rack and spinning blankets can.
Minimum ceiling height 12' for full act (it is possible to modify to fit lower ceilings, but some skills may be left out)
