I enjoy playing my instrument! If my performance elicits a positive emotional response, causes individuals to have fun, or helps a group to relax, I have accomplished my goal.
I've played flute for 13 years. I have a bachelor's degree in music education from Jacksonville State University where I performed in groups and solo. I am currently in the process of receiving a Master's degree in music with a Music Therapy concentration.
I'm flexible with most anything. I only have my Flute and myself. If the venue is loud, I might require a microphone.
I can perform traditional hymns, and I can prepare preferred music, or sight-read if it's necessary.
The groups I participated in while in undergrad inspired and encouraged me to offer my services.
I have my own stand and Flute stand. I only require music and enough notice to prepare.
