Kings Without is a talented band that'll keep you guessing, listening, and definatly dancing. Their love for most styles of music and vocal harmonies will always shine. After laying down some Funk grooves they might move on to their Reggae tracks or throw down some Blues, Rock, Soul, or Country.
When touring anywhere in the band van, Kings Without will have a medium sized high end PA system with a soundman. They also travel with all microphones, amps, and instruments. If overseas or travelling by air, a PA system, 1 bass amp, 1 tube guitar amp, 1 Yamaha Studio Custom drum kit is required on the backline. Lighting is needed always. Accomadations are required. We usually travel with 5 to 8 people.
The band uses- 3 vocal mics (Beyer, Shure 58)
-1 Guitar amp mic (Shure 57)
-2 Direct INs (Acoustic Guitar, Keys)
-1 Direct line for Bass
-1 Direct line for Banjo
-2-6 mics for drums.
Kings Without usually play roughly 60% covers, and 40% originals... Sometimes they play more originals or more covers depending on the room. They are capable of doing up to 4 nights of material, but here is a rough set list.
