All the hits from the 80's........UNPLUGGED!!!
80 s Unplugged has a good selection of material . They played and sang on pitch and in tune . Just two guitarists and a one drum percussionist who plays with his hands - no sticks - and still gets high and low sounds from what looks like a small snare drum. This band is easy to listen to and you can have a great time with your friends either dancing or guessing at the names of and original artists of the songs they play. A great idea for a not too loud 80 s show featuring songs ranging from Van Morrison to the Fixx to Boston. Good work guys.
Price Range: $500-1500
Gig Length: 120 - 240 minutes
If you are like us, we LOVE THE 80's! ! ! It was such a cool time to grow up. Who remembers the Rubix Cube or Swatch Watches or Members OnlyJackets?? WE DO.. How about Skinny Ties, Vans Checkerboard Shoes, Guys with Mulletts or Girls with Camaro Hair??? WE DO ! ! MOST OF ALL.....THE MUSIC ! ! It was such a simpler time. In the 80's POP Radio played all genres, Rock, Rap, Pop etc. 80's Unplugged was an idea I had years ago. I have played and continue to play all types of music but nothing makes me feel like I do when that 80's song comes on the radio, you know the one, you havent heard in years. Takes you right back to your youth. That is what we try to capture at all our shows. No frills, just me, Curtis and Mitra, our acoustics and his drum. All the hits from the 80's.....UNPLUGGED!!!! Hope to see you soon...
