We strive to make your little one's day as magical as possible through our high-quality and authentic characters!
We had a fairy come to our party, the girls grilled her about her fairy land she was from and LOVED her. She told stories and played games and painted everybody's nails. Very very happy!
We hired Northern Utah Princess Parties to help us with a princess tea party and they were amazing! They arrived early and were very personable! We specifically had Anna and Elsa princesses and they did an amazing job interacting with the children :) We will definitely be working with them again!
Can't describe, but after seeing the smile of all the children means the world to us,
Thank you for such a wonderful moment.
The princesses Anna and Elsa interacted with the kids at our event and were very pleasant to be around. They looked just like the real princesses. We were happy that they came, it really made the event special for the kids :)

When you book a small party or birthday party, expect to sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. From the time we arrive to the time we leave, the character(s) and their host will provide full entertainment services from face painting and makeovers, to games and coronation ceremonies. Our packages are tailored to fit any budget, without sacrificing service.
When you book a public show or meet-and-greet style event, you can expect the same top-notch performers in the same theme park quality costuming. They will meet your guests, interact, take photos, and stay in character for the full duration of your event.
Here at Northern Utah Princess Parties, our mission is to inspire children to create and embrace their own hidden magic. To instill belief in the world's potential to be everything they want it to be.
We strive to do this by providing you, our clients, with the absolute best quality performance and customer service. Through our top-notch communication, affordable service, theme-park quality costuming and wigs, and most of all - our love of children, we truly provide Utah's Premier Princess Party experience.
Many similar businesses keep costs low by cutting corners in costuming, wig artistry, and casting. This shows in their performance, and children do see the difference. We are able to keep our costs affordable for you, but by the quality of our service, your guests never have to know. We provide a theme park quality service by creating all of our lavish, expensive, high-quality gowns in-house. This way, you are provided with a real one-of-a-kind princess, in a gown fit for her title, for a low cost.
Our crowning glories, however, are not our beautiful gowns and wigs. Our beautiful performers fill their roles perfectly, and are true princesses through-and-through. All of our performers are professionally trained musicians and singers. They are deeply knowledgeable about the characters they portray, so much so that even the adults at your party will not doubt that they are seeing the real deal. We are so proud to provide award-winning, highly trained actresses, who truly love their work and adore the children we are blessed to perform for and interact with.
Don't take our word for it, though. Experience the magic yourself, and book a party today!
Travel Charges: Please note that parties farther than 10 miles from our headquarters in Ogden will be charged an extra fee of $1.50/mile outside of the 10 mile radius.
Performer Interactions: From the moment of arrival until departure, our performers will remain in character! Please refrain from referring to the performer by their given name, or asking questions about the costume or company. We would be happy to answer these questions outside after the party with no little eyes or ears nearby, or via phone, e-mail or Facebook! Please help us to keep the magic alive!
Performer Requests: While we do our best to accommodate special requests, we cannot guarantee requests for specific performers. All of our performers are beautiful, highly trained entertainers and actresses.

The party host will be there to help both parents and performers set up and clean-up activities, as well as to accept payment from the client and answer any questions they might have to help the performers stay in character. While Northern Utah Princess Parties strives to have a host at every party, it is not always possible. You will be notified if a host will not be in attendance.

The Character Host will ask any unleashed pets to be leashed or removed from the party space. Failure to comply will result in the character leaving the party immediately with full compensation from the client.
Performer Rights: If at any time a performer feels that they are in a threatening, hostile, unsafe, harmful, hazardous, or unsanitary environment, that performer retains the right leave with full compensation from the client. The performer also has the right to refuse to perform services if the client is negligent, absent, inattentive, disrespectful, and/or inebriated or under the influence of any foreign substance.

My name is Rebecca Smith, and I own Northern Utah Princess Parties. I'm a Senior at Weber State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Integrated Studies in Music, Theatre, and German. I'm a daughter, a sister, a student, an aunt to the most beautiful nephews in the world, a music teacher, and a business owner.
All my life I have loved fairytales. Some of my earliest memories are of sitting in a makeshift tent in my bedroom, spending hours reading Grimm stories until I fell asleep, only to dream of those same stories. It would seem I was suspended in a state of perpetual wonder.
Fast forward a few years to when I was given the opportunity to portray Rapunzel in Ogden High School's production of Sondheim's "Into the Woods", and my fascination with the enchanted forests of Grimm and Andersen began to run wild. All my life I had read these stories, but I had always existed outside of their realm, just a silent onlooker from a different time. Into the Woods was my first experience with theatre, my first opportunity to step outside of myself, to study and ultimately become another character. How fitting that such a turning point in my life was wholly centered around the Grimm stories I held so dear!
The Grimm Brothers' tale of Rapunzel was one that I had always known, it being
such a classic, but never before had I loved that flaxen-haired maiden in a tower like I loved her then. Rapunzel inspired so many of my decisions throughout the rest of my high school career and has continued to for the 3 years since I graduated.
I was given the opportunity in that same production to make a handful of the costumes. My mom taught me how to sew when I was very young, and it seemed like she often had to fight tooth and nail to keep me out of her (massive) fabric stash. My freshman year of college, I found myself without a regular job, and was hired to make a few costumes by a local cosplayer. After successfully fulfilling our deal, I thought that maybe this was something I could do for a while and for more people. Thus, Seamingly Magic Costume Design was born.
A few months into Seamingly Magic's success, I had become acquainted with the online "princess party" community. I noticed a lack of businesses of the type in the Ogden area, and after months of research, I opened Northern Utah Princess Parties.
My business came from very, very humble beginnings with just a handful of performers, just four characters, and low/moderate grade costumes and wigs. I will be the first to admit that, but that makes me all the more thrilled with how far my company has come and for the growth we have ahead of us.
But it isn't even close to being only my creation. I get to have the word "owner" stamped next to my name, but I don't feel that's fair to the armies of people I have had standing beside me and working just as hard as I have.
To my performer Windy, who listens to my frustrated ramblings, tells it like it is, and willingly offers up her talents not only as an actress and a singer but also as a quasi-assistant when I need some an extra hand in the sewing room.
To my dear, beloved parents who have dealt with my borderline insane love of fairytales since I was a tiny child and put up with the semi-havoc all of the fabrics, costumes, and wigs sometimes inflicted upon our home.
To my unbelievably inspiring older sister, Lara, who has not once left my side for 21 years and has been an unshakeable pillar of wisdom, light, and love.
To my best friends Lydia and Becca Cardon, who are unfailingly available whenever I need somebody to lean on.
To my late best friend Megan Jayne Czech who was my rock for 10 years. She was the personification of happiness and of sunshine, and not once did she allow me to doubt myself.
To my friend, photographer, and performer Daniel, who is the most talented and kindest person I know, for helping me whenever I ask for it and never failing to be somehow simultaneously sassy and compassionate.
To all of my mentors in the music department at Weber State, for always having an encouraging word to spare and for being the most talented yet humble bunch of individuals I have ever been fortunate enough to know.
It seems I could go on forever, but lastly I must mention all of YOU. For being kind, motivational, compassionate, and genuine. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be blessed with half of what I have. You truly are the biggest blessing.
To you I owe the biggest thank you in the world.
