VidaDance is about sharing life. We are a passionate group of professional dancers who enjoy expressing ourselves through movement and music, and who value challenge, creativity, positivity, and laughter. VidaDance is all about interesting, accessible, and excellent choreography, technique, and artistry. The pieces we produce are an eclectic blend of ballet, modern, jazz, lyrical, and tap, with even a little ballroom influence. We love making you smile, think, and feel. VidaDance is more than just a professional dance company - it's a movement.
VidaDance did an amazing job at our halftime event. We heard nothing but compliments and we will be partnering with them again soon.

VidaDance performances are always interesting and fun. We believe dance should be easily understood, and performances should be a positive and inspiring. Our pieces are an eclectic blend of ballet, modern, jazz, tap, with ballroom dance influence. Themes range from fairies to finding home to rehearsal mishaps to beginning again and everything in between. We tailor our performances to meet your needs, and can even choreograph a new piece especially for your event. Check out our promo video on YouTube!
VidaDance was founded in 2015 by Lindsey Smith. Lindsey has been dancing most of her life. She holds a BA in Dance with minors in Religious Studies and Hotel Management from Mercyhurst University, graduating magna cum laude in 2011. Her performing experience includes Lake Erie Ballet, Ravel Dance Company, Anazao Dance, Communitas, and Storling Dance Theater, and Dramatic Truth Ballet Theatre. Lindsey has performed as Aurora in "The Sleeping Beauty," held soloist roles in "Coppelia," "Swan Lake," "The Nutcracker," "The Prodigal Daughter," and "Hung Out to Dry," and was corps de ballet in "Cinderella," "Giselle," and "Les Sylphides." Lindsey’s choreography “If” was performed at Mercyhurst school lecture/demonstrations and was invited to be presented at the National Dance Association’s annual conference gala in San Diego in April 2011. Lindsey was presented with the National Dance Association 2010 Student Literary Award and its 2011 Plaudit Award for contribution to the dance field. In 2013, she became a ballet expert for Nike’s (link hidden) and filmed the how-to video series “Dance & Conditioning.” Lindsey also co-choreographed and danced in the Willow Tree promotional video for Susan Lordi’s sculpture “Around You” with Hanan Misko.
