We are a pair of violins who play for wedding ceremonies, small event gigs, in and around the Treasue Valley. We play everything from classical to small Celtic duets, love songs, and even re wrote Metallicas Nothing Else Matters for 2 violins and a flute!!! It's a lot of fun. We have played for many weddings and recently a resturaunt grand opening. In addition, we are growing our music choices, so please read below for more details.

My name is Donna, the lady in the picture. Myself and my twin sister, Dana, play violins. We've been playing for 17yrs now and have done weddings in various locations and situations. We also teach privately violin, viola, and cello; all beginner to intermediate. Playing violins for weddings has been a fun hobby and side-job to our everyday lives. With lots of love and joy to the trade of being musicians, we also can bring in other musicians to play for gigs for special occassions.
We recently played for the opening of a resturaunt in Boise, ID as a last-minute opportunity. We can order in new music, re-write music all with going over a coordinated effort with the client within a contract. It's a lot of fun, and we thank you so much for taking a look at our page.
In Addition, We prefer to be paid in CASH at the time of service, or here online via PayPal or whatever is specified on this site..
General Contract consists of $100/Musician for 2hrs. $150/Musician for 4hrs:Maximum. $1/mile each way for venues outside of the Treasure Valley PER Musician- only if taking separate transportation. All venues are taken into account for cost and best value to the client. We know these days are precious to you and special in one way or another. Wherever we play, we need to have ample lighting, or a place to plug in stand lighting, and temperatures preferrably around 65 degrees or higher. Violin strings change their sounds with drastic temperature changes. We travel from Kuna, ID, so we need to know about the venue with plenty of time and good directions. We're very open and honest about pricing, music, and choices.
Typical Wedding Ceremony options- Pachabelle' Canon, bridal suite/music, quiet background music for ceremony..... Bridal party may request separate music to be ordered in- extra charge if necessary for book pricing. We can re-write music as well.
We just played for the opening of a new resturaunt in Boise,ID and they had requested just normal classical love-type music. So we played the typical background music like the Minuet and many other duets. The big thing was, it's an Indian Resturaunt-as in INDIA. We came away from it knowing that we are quickly growing our cultural repritoire. It's amazing what cultures can influence your decisions in music choice.
