The Costume Tailor is a party service in the Alexandria, LA area.
The good Captain Jack Sparrow will indict the party-goers into his crew and teach them how to be pirates! Activities will include sword-fighting, a staged treasure-hunt, (perhaps walking the plank if there's a pool ;P), and other pirate-y activities!

My name is Adam Rogers. I've always loved wearing costumes. I used beg my mom to make them for me as a little kid, but she soon gave up on it because she hated making them, apparently. But that didn't stop me! I made my parents buy me costumes from magazines until I stopped in middle school (figured I was getting a little old for it--at least according to society). But mostly I was always disappointed by the poor quality from the purchased costumes and lack of accuracy in the costumes I wore.
I got back into costuming in 8th grade; the Band was hosting a Halloween Dance as a fundraiser so I decided to go as Harry Potter. This was the first costume I put together by myself (using items found around the house)! Then when I was a Senior I decided to initiate a Freshman by making him wear a Link (Legend of Zelda) costume (made from items bought from Wal-Mart). There was another Halloween Costume Ball, hosted by the Drama Club this time, that year so I improved upon the Link costume and wore it to the Ball.
I then made a Jack Sparrow costume from a Simplicity pattern, with slight alterations, in order to make my first detailed, screen-accurate costume. Ever since then I've nurtured my love for costuming and even switched my major to Fashion Design so I could learn more about clothing and become a true tailor. I soon started my own business, The Costume Tailor, and recently decided to expand into the party business.
I truly love making highly-detailed, super-accurate costumes to portray my favorite characters! I hope you enjoy my services!
