The Colbys are a New Orleans style, piano driven, R&B band steeped in swing, gospel and the blues. Led by Grammy, Emmy & Ace Award winner John Colby (current music director for the NASCAR Award show and composer of the iconic ESPN Sportscenter theme) and Bev Rohlehr (Persuasions, National Jazz Ensemble & Mel Lewis Jazz Orchestra). The Colbys are a high energy, no two nights ever the same, musical experience.
We are available for weddings, club dates, concerts, fundraisers and corporate events and can book any additional musicians and performers needed for your event. Price will vary depending on, location, the size of venue and event and the number of performers.

John Colby - Grammy, Ace, Emmy award winning, composer, music director and producer. Music Director for the ESPY awards for 24 consecutive years; for NASCAR awards over 15 years. Entertainment co-ordinator for several major fundraising events. Keyboardist and band leader.
Bev Rohlehr - lead singer with R&B, blues, jazz, and gospel roots. Often compared to Etta James, Aretha & Ella Fitzgerald. Only woman to perform with the Persuasions. Did Big Band work with Mel Lewis Jazz Orchestra and the National Jazz Ensemble.
