We play and sing traditional American acoustic music dating from the Stephen Foster era through the world wars, early bluegrass, the 50's - 60's folk scare, and beyond. Along the way we do songs of Carter Family, Bill Monroe, Hank Williams, Emmylou Harris, etc., sprinkled with a bit of Gospel.
Suzanne plays the fiddle and Dave plays the banjo, guitar, Dobro or autoharp. We have both played in several local groups and can call on other musicians to join in if needed. We now have added Kerstin and Linda, mandolin and guitar respectively and call ourselves Wilbee Herd. All of us have been accused of singing lead and harmony.
