I have a passion for classical music of all types. Playing French horn in anything from a Mozart symphony to the latest new music piece, I will bring the training I received from two of the top music schools in the US to your event.

I am adaptable to many different ensembles and will blend to whatever style of music is being played. I have played in groups ranging from full sized orchestras, brass and woodwind quintets, new music groups, and jazz-influenced pieces (no improv experience though). If you are looking for a soloist, I have a repertoire of solos for horn and piano that range from Mozart concerti to mid-20th century German works, with many of the standard Horn solos that fall in between. I also have several unaccompanied horn pieces from the late 20th/early 21st century. If you have need of a horn player in any capacity for your event I will gladly perform.
After participating in the Philadelphia Youth Orchestra throughout High School, I attended the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music for my bachelor's degree in French Horn Performance. While there I studied with Randy Gardner, former 2nd horn in the Philadelphia Orchestra, and Elizabeth Freimuth, Principal horn of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. I then continued my musical studies at the Eastman School of Music where I received instruction from Peter Kurau, Principal horn of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra. I graduated with my master's in French Horn Performance in the spring of 2015 and have returned to the mid-atlantic region. I am available for gigs anywhere from the Philadelphia area down to the Baltimore/DC region.
If performing a solo for horn and piano I will need contact information for your piano player so we can rehearse and properly prepare for the best possible performance.
