Sidney is a high energy stand-up comedian that can work clean enough for a corporate event yet edgy enough to be a favorite amongst the college crowd.
Always professional, Sidney's number one priority is making sure he leaves crowds entertained and wanting more. Sidney can be seen on programs ranging from Comcast's children's program Summer Joke School to television's Raw Reality with Gail Kasper. Sidney has also placed 3rd in the prestigious LOL Comedy Contest at The Grand Opera House in Wilmington as well as several semi-final appearances in Helium Comedy Club's Philly's Phunniest Person Contest.
We had Sidney for our family reunion and he did an awesome job!
Funny ontime quick wit and great roaster! Thanks Sidney
As a nonprofit organization hosting a stand up comedy show for the first time, we asked Sidney to perform for us. Sidney's comedy was a real crowd pleaser. His real strength is in his ability to draw humor from all kinds of topics. Sidney's jokes varied into all sorts of diverse subjects and he had great material in each. It was clear he put a lot of time into his craft.
Throughout the planning process, Sidney was professional and courteous. Even after the show, he was a big hit meeting with our donors and guests.
We are very grateful to have had Sidney perform for us. His performance was a runaway success. I strongly recommend Sidney for your next comedy show!

A professional stand-up comedian that allows audiences to let their guard down and have a good time. Sidney's act runs the gamut of observational humor, one-liners, and stories that cover topics including but not limited to his issues with eating cake, what it means to be intelligent, why he thinks he's not creepy, social interactions, relationships, and his new role as a father.
It's hard to say if Sidney Gantt was born to be a comedian, but he was a middle child to a single mother & by the time he was in the 6th grade had already lived in 11 different homes... in the same town. Despite that instability he still managed straight A's & several detentions. Sidney's chaotic upbringing resulted in an unusual confidence that comes from never knowing what normal looked like. Onstage, Sidney delivers sharply insightful observational humor and revealing stories of his own social irreverence, & he’s nonstop silly. He's not a bad guy, but he's not exactly the good guy. He's a philosopher that lives & breathes his philosophies into the world no matter how ridiculous they are.

The biggest influence for my comedy is Bugs Bunny. After Bugs, my influences are all the giants of comedy like Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, George Carlin, Carol Burnette, Bill Burr, Louis CK, Greg Giraldo, and Ellen Degeneres.
