I play weddings, funerals, birthdays or any other type of event. I have over twenty years of experience playing. I have played and recorded with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and I have competed at the highest levels of bagpiping. Don't hire a sub-par bagpiper.
Ross is a talented bagpiper, and he was very professional. The whole family was very happy with his performance.
Price Range: $100-$500

I am well versed in all of the classics of the bagpipe including Amazing Grace and Scotland the Brave. In addition my repertoire includes music appropriate for funerals, wedding, birthday parties, Christmas parties, or for a simple get together. I am more than glad to answer questions and give some fun details about how the bagpipes work. If you need me for a graveside service I generally show up before the procession and provide some prelude music with Amazing Grace played as the casket is brought to the grave. I am really very flexible and I will try accommodate any specific requests.
I have been playing bagpipes for about 23 years. My father, also a bagpiper, started teaching me at the age of five. I have traveled all over the world competing in band and solo competitions. Most notably I played in a band ranking in the top 16 at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow in 2009. I have also been the musical director for two pipe bands in the Salt lake Valley. Recently my pipe band has recorded an album and I have recorded the famous "Amazing Grace" with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. In addition to playing gigs I teach bagpipes. The music of the Great Highland Bagpipe is my passion.
I can play pretty much anywhere there is enough open space. The only thing I require is about 10 minutes in a private place to warm up my instrument.
