Raquel Elise is a phenomenal vocalist and all out performer. She’ll make you dance, she’ll make you laugh and may even make you cry with the way she emotes onstage. A Houston native, she merges a modern metropolitan flair with a comforting southern nostalgia in her phrasing and song choice. She performed in the 2019 MoTown & More Revue at Miller Outdoor Theatre as Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, the lead singer of the Mary Jane Girls and the soprano of The Emotions girl group with great acclaim in each role. She has been performing on the local Houston scene since 2012 as part of a South African production company and is duly influenced by that experience. She also sings in over 8 languages.
