Luke Carlsen and The Fresh Rhythm is a jazz band in the heart of Southern California. The Fresh Rhythm thrives on a mutual desire to bring this classic form of music to a wider audience and demonstrate the unique sense of sophistication from Traditional American Popular Music. Although none of us listened intently to swing music when we were little, as we matured and developed our musical craft we became inspired by the genius of Gerswhin, Riddle, Sinatra, Porter, Armstrong, and Marsalis. We're excited for the opportunity to influence modern audiences of all ages to discover, or rediscover, their love of timeless songs from our greatest generation.
