La Iguana nació en el eje cafetero Colombiano en el año 2004. Actualmente está conformada por Fido (Teclados y producción), Andrés Gota (Voz lider y compositor), Diego Idárraga (Percusión). Caracterizada por fusionar muy bien su propuesta musical con los diferentes ritmos y géneros que los han influenciado. Han alcanzado tres galardones en los Premios Nuestra Tierra como MEJOR NUEVO ARTISTA, MEJOR INTERPRETACIÓN TROPICAL POP y MEJOR ARTISTA TROPICAL POP y dos nominaciones a los Premios Shock.
