Kente Scott

Born and raised in Oakland, California and, although his father wanted him to be a doctor, Kenté was destined for a different career path as he began appearing in commercials and stage plays while at UCLA. He started doing stand-up at the world famous Comedy Store in Hollywood. He has left crowds laughing all over the country, performing with many comic heavyweights including Katt Williams, Cedric The Entertainer, Melanie Camacho, Sherri Shepherd, Chris Spencer, and Rodney Perry. Kenté has co-headlined tours of U.S. military bases for our troops overseas, bringing his humor to our men and women serving or country. As an actor, he has appeared in numerous films and television series. He co-starred in Denzel Washington's directorial debut, "Antwone Fisher", and starred as the lead character in Showtime's critically acclaimed movie "They Call Me Sirr" co-starring Michael Clarke Duncan. Kenté has been a guest star on numerous hit shows during his career including "The Unit", "ER", "The Parkers", "Strong Medicine", and "Half & Half" to name a few. He is currently starring in the hilarious web series "Class Dismissed". Kenté draws the inspiration for his comedy material from his seemingly never-ending life as a bachelor, being a single father of a teenage daughter, and his crazy (in a good way) parents and upbringing. Watch out for more big things from this all-around talent.
