Traditional media live event caricature services...naughty or nice!
This is the second time we booked this fab artist. He always creates a custom layout for us and the community absolutely loves him. This time he made a scarecrow outline and added the kid's faces into the drawing. Top notch, top drawer, a very top drawer.
Price Range: $125 per hour/ 2 hr minimum
Gig Length: 120 - 540 minutes
Languages: English
Mike is a congenial fellow with an eye for nuance; the artist will arrive approximately one half-hour before the scheduled service starting time to set up equipment and check lighting. Caricature service can be provided either on a first-come/first-served basis, or using a timed sign up sheet.
Mike has been drawing funny faces since 1980, and providing live event caricature services since 2005. This artist's caricatures tend to be more cartoony and gentle, and flow at 10-12 faces per hour in black and white.
Did we mention the lighting? I just need to know if your building is going to, say, automatically turn off all the lights promptly at eleven. In that case, I'll bring a lantern ('cause this happens every year).

A graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and a studio concentration in Illustration, Mike's influences come largely from the world of comics and animation. A solid base of Kevin Maguire with a helping of Bret Blevins and flashes of Jack Kirby and Guido Crepax; if that doesn't mean anything to you, no biggie. The faces are expressive and subtle, not quite the typical caricature.
small table, 3 chairs (minimum), adequate light
