I have over ten years experience competing and performing at Scottish and non-Scottish events as both a top quality bagpiper and professional-level highland dancer.
I have done literally every single type of event from weddings and graduations to CD release parties for local bands to birthday parties and much more.
I am an active member of one of the top level competitive bands in the world and have been instructing a beginner level pipe band for the past 5 years. I am also an active solo competitor at a grade 1 level.
I am available for any type of event you would like me to play from the GTA to the Niagara Region. Distance is not a big issue. Please do not hesitate to contact me!

I am extremely flexible to what you would like me to do at your event.
I am also able to offer suggestions if they are needed. I have had many brides and families that have hired me ask what pipers normally do at weddings and funerals because they have never organized such an event in the past. I can clearly describe and suggest the most suitable way to integrate me into your service.
I am also able to offer samples of music and music-types that are appropriate for your event. Not every piper out there will do this.
I can also provide samples of myself playing to assure you of the quality you are hiring, which is another thing most pipers will not do before you hire them.
You will not be disappointed with my services.
Coming from a half-Scottish background, I decided to take up bagpipes when I was only nine years old. A few months later, I progressed enough to start solo competitions at a beginner's grade 5 level and join my first competitive beginner-level pipe band.
Skip ahead over 12 years...
Currently, I am still competing, but at the highest level (grade 1) in both solos and pipe band. I am also the current instructor of a beginner-level band (2008-present), US Open Champions in 2011.
Aside from competitions and instructing, I have years of experience performing solo at all types of events such as:
Weddings
Funerals
Graduations
Canadian Citizenship Ceremonies
Birthday Parties
CD Release Parties
Opening Ceremonies
Music for Highland Dance Competitions
Whisky Promotion Events
Robbie Burns Suppers
Remembrance Day Ceremonies
Piper for The Honourable Peter McKay (Minister of National Defense)
Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo
...and much more.
With this experience, I can do whatever you would like me to at your event and I am also able to offer some suggestions if you aren't exactly sure what you want.
I know quite the repertoire of music and am also willing to learn custom pieces that are requested of me if I don't already know them.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for some quality bagpiping that will make your event memorable.
Bagpipes are relatively easy to deal with. No additional notes needed :)

I have a very large repertoire including all the well-known traditional Scottish (and some Irish) tunes.
I also have a large knowledge of non-traditional tunes.
There's far too many to list here, but if you have any requests, I am happy to fulfill them whether I already know them or not.
I am also willing to suggest music if you aren't exactly sure what you want. Once we are in touch, I can provide you with many different themes and styles of music and you can choose whatever you would like to make your event perfect.
I started learning bagpipes for two reasons:
1) My grandmother used to play competitively when she lived in Scotland
and
2) I am also a professional highland dancer and highland dance instructor.
Highland dancers dance to bagpipe music, and I became very interested in that aspect at a young age.
Over the years, I've also had the privilege of being the bagpiper at highland dance competitions and experiencing the position of my very influence.
An area to warm up the bagpipes
