About
I’m a natural henna artist primarily serving the greater Kansas City area and traveling to other cities for destination weddings.
I was always passionate about henna / mehndi as a child and would do henna tattoos for my sister and friends on special occasions. When I grew up, I became more interested in the art of henna and started practicing designs on my hands and learned to make my own henna paste. I use only pure and organic ingredients in my henna paste, which ensures that my mehndi is safe for kids as well as for adults.
About three years ago (2017), I was doing a henna tattoo on my niece’s hands and it occurred to me that I could share my love for henna with others. That was when I decided to become a professional mehndi artist. Since then, I have been part of various events and have been fortunate to do henna tattoos for people across ages.
As Henna art is not considered a mainstream art, I have made a conscious choice to represent it and share my love for henna / mehndi with others. And, I intend to enjoy this creative journey for the rest of my life.
