Cora-Sol is the stage presence of independent performance artist Coraima Boria. Based out of Hartford, Connecticut, Cora-Sol has been performing professionally for the last seven years providing visually captivating and immersive experiences for audiences all throughout New England. Cora has carried a deep connection to movement and creative expression since childhood.
At the age of nine they joined a local Salsa dance group that performed and participated in competitions and parades in Connecticut. As a teenager Cora then attended the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts where they studied creative writing, musical theater, and character development. Additionally, Cora took classes in jewelry, costuming and makeup which would provide them the skills to create custom characters, whimsical looks and one-of-a-kind costumes for their performances years later. Cora also has experience in technical theater where they took classes to learn how to light a stage, work a special effects sound board, design a set and create their own props. Several years after graduating, Cora continued on their performance journey, eventually evolving their skill set to include prop dance and manipulation officially creating a name for themselves as a professional freelance performer in 2016. A year later they joined The What Collective, a performance group based out of Boston, Massachusetts and traveled with them to perform for their first musical festival in Lakewood, PA.
After a year performing with The What Collective, they later decided it was time to expand their reach, branch out and grow their audience by becoming a member of The Hive Fire LLC in 2019, the world's first all female fire breathing collective based out of Brooklyn, New York. Often marching to the beat of their own drum, Cora eventually felt it was time to move on and begin their transition back to re-establishing themselves as an independent performer with goals of putting together their own performance team one day.
In the meantime, Cora can still be found performing all over New England and beyond continuously adding to their repertoire and building their resume. Cora-Sol brings their raw passion and lively energy to any event or production they are a part of and has the intrinsic ability to transform the atmosphere and embody their own creativity and uniqueness to create one-of-a-kind performances and offer memorable experiences that will be sure to captivate any audience.

Fire shows are most ideal for outdoor events, however indoor fire shows are possible in large well ventilated areas, but will require an inspection by local fire marshall. For certain locations and venues, a permit may also be required. For outdoor fire shows, a barrier that separates the performance area and audience needs to be established between 15-20 ft. There will be a fire safety technician on site. Designated and enclosed area needed for fuel storage and access away from both audience and performance area. If providing my own music, access to a sound system to connect or plug into must be available. USB preferred. If available, access to dressing or private area.
Coleman Camp Fuel (White Gas)
Double Bucket Fuel System
Caution Tape for Stage Barrier
Performance Area 15 ft away from audience
Backstage fuel storage away from audience
CO2 Fire Extinguisher
