Ariel Fulford is a Traverse city harpist and music teacher. She has been playing for 18 years. She was classically trained in the modified Salzedo Method, studying under Joan Holland, harp instructor at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Ariel performs on a 38-string Salvi "Ana" lever harp, and a 47-string Salvi Concert Grand harp. She writes most of her own arrangements, combining her passion for the flowing melodies of folk music with the elegance of classical technique. Over the years Ariel has had the privilege to play for numerous types of events, including weddings, receptions, funerals, memorial services, concerts, recitals, churches, cafes, and private and corporate parties.
