At Special Guest we understand the impact that COVID-19 has had on the entertainment industry.
We are also sensitive to the concerns you have around cancellations and refunds
when booking LIVE entertainment. The 2022 Special Guest COVID-19 Booking Policy
expressed below outlines the steps we took to ensure your satisfaction,
including a no-cost “change the date” option or an unconditional money-back guarantee
in the event that your event is cancelled or the entertainer(s) booked through Special Guest
is unable to perform. Note - in the instance of a cancellation by entertainer(s) due to COVID-19
related circumstances, our Concierge Team will step in and do everything possible to find an
adequate replacement at no additional charge to you.
Our COVID-19 Policy
Our #1 goal is to provide customers of Special Guest with the ultimate entertainment
experience in a healthy and safe environment for everyone involved.
Unfortunately, COVID-19, including the new variants, is highly volatile and State
by State policies may impact your ability to host an event. If any of the following happen,
don't worry, we've got your back with an unconditional replacement or money-back guarantee.
Government mandated restriction on hosting your event
- If you or any critical member of your event is diagnosed with COVID-19 or is
required to quarantine because of contact tracing or exposure
- If your entertainment is unable to perform because of a COVID-19 diagnosis or
quarantine because of contact tracing or exposure
- If you need to cancel your event because of COVID-19 all you have to do
is contact Special Guest at 877-81-TALENT, notify your Special Guest Personal Concierge,
or email [email protected] It's that easy.
To ensure that your event is as COVID-19 compliant as possible, please consider the following suggestions:
Require only vaccinated or masked attendees
Only hire vaccinated entertainers. (Contact the Special Guest Concierge Team to help
facilitate booking vaccinated entertainers).
Keep in close contact with your entertainer(s), especially in the days
leading up to the event to ensure no known exposures.
Require that your guests and / or entertainers are tested before your event.
Take the extra step to ensure social distancing is in place.
Provide hand sanitizer and free masks to guests (when applicable).
Move your event outside.
Contact all attendees after the event to see if anyone developed symptoms.
We acknowledge the important role that your hired entertainer(s) play in making your event safe.
Special Guest hired entertainer(s) will:
Adhere to current social distancing guidelines and follow government advice.
Bring proper protective gear, including mask(s) and hand sanitizers.
Contact you to discuss any health & safety concerns after the booking is confirmed.
When not performing, wear a mask and/or gloves if requested. Some instrumentalists
can even wear a mask while performing - this will have to be agreed
between you and the musician ahead of your event.
Cancel the booking with as much notice as possible if they've been diagnosed
with COVID or have to quarantine because of COVID exposure as defined by the CDC.
Work with you to reschedule should health concerns develop outside of your control.
Remember - Contact Special Guest or your Personal Concierge should you have concerns.
