Jack Mosbacher

San Francisco Retro-Pop
Los Angeles, CA

Jack Mosbacher is a San Francisco-based singer-songwriter known for his spirited style of retro-pop and exuberant, silvery sound. His timeless warmth, carefully crafted hooks, and modern charisma have drawn comparisons to masters of a bygone era: The Temptations, Hall and Oates, Otis Redding, and Smokey Robinson. Mosbacher’s voice revives the best of the past with timeless warmth, contemporary sensibility, and authentic joy. His background is as varied as his influences. Prior to his rise in music, Mosbacher played baseball at Stanford University, performed with San Francisco’s Opera and Symphony, traveled to 13 African countries as a human rights activist, and wrote articles for some of the world’s premier foreign policy publications. But Jack’s calling for music led him down what now seems like an unavoidable path: performing his own unique brand of soul-pop for anyone who will listen. And with a slew of original singles awaiting release and an exclusive new project honoring David Ruffin, he has quickly become an unstoppable positive force. His radiant voice has evolved to exude the old school power of Alabama Shakes and Leon Bridges, with the pop sensibility of Andy Grammer and Ed Sheeran. Lauded by the San Francisco Chronicle as a “star on the rise,” Jack Mosbacher is a timeless, melodic delight for old souls of all ages.
